I am an experienced founder, CEO and angel investor. In 2008, I co-founded Visual Meta (LadenZeile.de) and served as its CEO since its inception for 10 years. Visual Meta was an international, Berlin-based operator of shopping comparison websites. I was responsible for all non-technical topics such as marketing, strategy, finance, sales, HR, and product. We scaled the company from zero to >300 people, >15 countries, >€40m revenue and >€10m net profit within a few years. We sold Visual Meta to Axel Springer / Idealo.

After Visual Meta, I joined HV Capital as a partner from 2020-2021.

Prior to Visual Meta, I worked as an investment banker for Merrill Lynch and as an investment professional for a VC fund. Since 2008, I invested in over 100 companies, realizing various high-profile exits.

I hold a degree in Business Administration from WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management and spent semesters in India and France.
